Anime Dice Best Traits Ranked: Every Panel Value We Could Verify
Every trait our frames could read on the Anime Dice Traits panel, ranked by printed value: Transcendent 15x at 0.006% down to Money I 1.2x at 25.4%.

Which Trait Is Best In Anime Dice?
The Traits panel answers this itself, because it sorts its own list by value. Scroll it to the top and the first row is Transcendent — 15x Income, 15x Damage, 15x Health, printed with 0.006% underneath: the biggest multiplier on the panel paired with the smallest chance. Below it comes Monarch at 8x to all three stats, then Shogun at 5x, then Samurai at 3x. Only after those four does the list drop to single-stat traits, starting with Health III at 2x Health for 1.2%.
So the honest ranking is the panel’s own order, top to bottom. There is no hidden tier list behind it and no separate “best” trait the game declines to show you — every number in this article is transcribed from that scrollable list, frame by frame, and each one carries a timestamp so you can re-read it yourself.
Two things this page is not, because the site already covers them elsewhere: what a trait is and how the panel works is on the traits guide; which unit deserves your crystals is on the reroll priority page. This page is only about which trait wins, and about the gaps that ranking leaves.
Every screen below was opened and read at full resolution from two clean screen recordings:
Sources: the frames on this page come from two no-facecam, no-burned-caption captures by Superlex Plays, checked frame by frame on 2026-09-19: How to become OVERPOWERED (the ladder scrolled to its top at 15:34) and How to become UNSTOPPABLE (the ladder scrolled to its bottom at 8:06, and a live reroll sequence at 15:14–15:42). A third recording, CHALLS’s full noob-to-pro guide, we scanned across all 482 seconds and it never opens the Traits station at all — and that upload carries burned-in caption text and a channel watermark, so we publish no frames from it. Spoken lines are quoted with timestamps. The developer publishes no trait document in text form; everything here is what the screens printed.
One limitation to state up front: both frame sources are the same creator’s two consecutive sessions, on accounts at different stages. That is enough to cross-check the ladder’s numbers, which repeat identically across both, but it is not a sample of many accounts. Where that matters, we say so.

What Does The Full Trait Ladder Print?
Thirteen rows, in this order, exactly as the panel lists them. The two “as printed” columns are transcriptions, not interpretations.
| # | Trait | Effect as printed on the row | Chance as printed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Transcendent | 15x Income, 15x Damage, 15x Health | 0.006% |
| 2 | Monarch | 8x Income, 8x Damage, 8x Health | 0.025% |
| 3 | Shogun | 5x Income, 5x Damage, 5x Health | 0.12% |
| 4 | Samurai | 3x Income, 3x Damage, 3x Health | 0.5% |
| 5 | Health III | 2x Health | 1.2% |
| 6 | Health II | 1.5x Health | 6.3% |
| 7 | Health I | 1.2x Health | 25.4% |
| 8 | Damage III | 2x Damage | 1.2% |
| 9 | Damage II | 1.5x Damage | 6.3% |
| 10 | Damage I | 1.2x Damage | 25.4% |
| 11 | Money III | 2x Income | 1.2% |
| 12 | Money II | 1.5x Income | 6.3% |
| 13 | Money I | 1.2x Income | 25.4% |
Rows 1–5 come off the frame at 15:34, rows 4–9 off the two frames at 15:40 and 15:18, and rows 8–13 off the shot taken at the bottom of the list. The overlap is what lets us stitch them into a single ordered ladder rather than four disconnected screenshots.

The reference frame — rows 1 to 5 in one shot, with the TRAIT box on this card still reading None.

Two useful things sit in that second frame. First, Money I is the last row — the list shows nothing beneath it, which closes a gap our traits guide used to flag as unread. Second, the hovering tooltip prints Kaidon · Legendary · Level 1 · Money I · Grade: A+ · $754k/s · 1 in 12m on one card, so a trait and a grade coexist as separate lines rather than replacing each other.

The four all-stat rows are also the only ones on this page backed by a second, independent channel: our traits guide transcribed Transcendent 15x / 0.006%, Monarch 8x / 0.025%, Shogun 5x / 0.12% and Samurai 3x / 0.5% from a different creator’s earlier capture, and the two frames agree to the digit. The single-stat rows below them have only our two recordings behind them.
How Much Better Is Each Tier, Really?
The panel prints the values but never compares them, so this section is our own arithmetic on the numbers above — division, not developer commentary.
Multiplier steps. Transcendent is 1.875x Monarch’s multiplier, Monarch is 1.6x Shogun, Shogun is about 1.67x Samurai, and Samurai is 1.5x the best single-stat row (3x to everything against 2x to one stat). The four all-stat traits are close to a geometric ladder; the single-stat families then repeat one pattern three times over.
Chance steps. Each row down is roughly four to five times more likely: 0.006 → 0.025 is about 4.2x, 0.025 → 0.12 is 4.8x, 0.12 → 0.5 is about 4.2x. Then the jump from Samurai to a III row is only 2.4x, and within a family the III → II step is 5.25x while II → I is about 4x.
The whole spread. Money I at 25.4% is roughly 4,233 times more likely than Transcendent at 0.006%. Samurai gives you one-fifth of Transcendent’s multiplier for about 83 times the printed chance. That ratio, not the headline multiplier, is the thing to keep in mind when a guide tells you to “go for Transcendent”.

Best Trait For Income, And Best Trait For The Tower
The ladder has only three income-specific rows — Money III, II and I — but they are the lowest-value income options on the panel, not the specialist pick you should hunt. The all-stat traits carry an Income multiplier as part of the bundle, so Samurai’s 3x Income beats Money III’s 2x Income on printed numbers, at 0.5% against Money III’s 1.2%.
What the panel cannot tell you is which of those is worth more in cash. A multiplier rides on a unit’s base income, and the base differs per unit and per level — the only figure of that kind we ever see on screen is the per-second line on a card tooltip, like Kaidon’s $754k/s above. So the honest rule is the one on the reroll priority page: spend on the unit you are keeping, and let the trait match the job.
- Earning on your plot: anything with an Income line — the four all-stat traits first, then the Money family. Cash-per-second is also what offline earnings bank while you are away.
- Fighting in the tower: Damage and Health rows. The creator reaches that conclusion by accident, long before he opens the panel in that video — he applies a trait straight after a tower run and says “This is for the tower. I was thinking like what is the damage used for?” (11:41).
- A unit you plan to replace: nothing. He says it plainly at 16:18: “you have to be careful because you don’t want to put traits or upgrade guys that you’re going to like replace at some point.”

Health I, landed at 15:40 with only 7 crystals left in the wallet — the red text matches the red-bordered Health rows.

What Did We Actually Watch Land On A Unit?
Nothing above tier III. That is the most important caveat on this page, and it is worth stating before anyone quotes our ranking as a farming target.
In the second recording we have a reroll sequence captured second by second. Across four frames inside twenty seconds, the TRAIT box on the card being rolled reads None (15:14), Damage I (15:18), Damage II (15:26) and Damage III (15:34), while the Trait Reroll counter falls from 98/1 to 76/1. The counter is the mechanic made visible: one crystal per attempt, exactly as the /1 says, and the owned number only goes down.

Ninety-eight crystals in the wallet, and the first roll lands on the cheapest Damage row on the panel.

Sixteen seconds and 22 crystals later — the highest result our frames ever caught in a TRAIT box.
Watch the Damage III land at 15:34
The commentary matches the screens. He sets his own bar at “anything that’s three is considered good” (15:14), and when Damage III lands he reads the row aloud — “it’s two times damage” (15:14) — which is exactly what the panel prints beside it. By 15:45 he is still fishing the same ladder: “Give me money three. Give me health three. Even health three”.
The first recording shows the opposite end of the economy. That account’s panel prints 8/1 crystals at 15:34 and 7/1 at 15:40, and the creator sizes his choices by a wallet he knows is thin: “I’ll take damage cuz we only have six traits, guys” (15:17). He also does not know where they come from — “we don’t have any trait shards yet. I actually don’t even know how you get them” (8:09). The panel labels the crystal Trait Reroll; “trait shards” is this creator’s spoken word for the same item, and no screen we checked shows a second currency by that name. Where they come from is answered on the reroll priority page — tower drops, quests and codes — and the second recording gives one concrete number out loud: “we got 152 uh trait rerolls” from a long tower run (24:57).
