Anime Dice Rebirth Guide: What Resets, What Stays and What It Multiplies

What Rebirth does in Anime Dice, read off the panel frame by frame: the Luck and Cash multipliers it upgrades, the cash it wipes, the costs we saw, and what stays.

FAQ

What does Rebirth do in Anime Dice?
It permanently upgrades two account-wide multipliers — Luck and Cash — by one step, and it takes all of your cash as payment. The panel prints the exact pair you are buying, for example 3x Luck to 4x Luck and 3x Cash to 4x Cash, above a progress bar showing your current cash over the cost of the next rebirth. The step is different depending on how many times you have already rebirthed.
Does Rebirth reset your units or the upgrade tree?
Units survive. The RustScroll creator says at 3:40 that rebirth 'doesn't reset our unit', and our frame from four seconds after his sixth rebirth shows his units still placed on their pads and earning. We could not verify the upgrade tree either way — none of our sources shows the tree before and after a rebirth — so treat tree persistence as unconfirmed.
How much does the next Rebirth cost?
The bar on the panel shows it as current cash over cost, and every frame we captured read the same way: 50k for a first rebirth, 500m two tiers later, 5t and then 500t on a mid-game account, and 1sp on a late UPD 4 account. The only jump we watched happen live — 5t to 500t — was hundred-fold. The developer publishes no official ladder, so read your own panel; the 50 billion tier exists only as RustScroll's spoken number at 20:37.
What is the max Rebirth in Anime Dice?
Nobody on our recordings knows. The RexonSIM creator asks his chat at 4:37 'what is the max rebirth… because I have no idea', and RustScroll says at 8:43 'I don't know what the max rebirth is. I wish it said it.' The highest count witnessed on screen is a sixth rebirth. UPD 4 added one more rebirth tier per RexonSIM's read of the update notes at 2:35.
Why do other guides show different Rebirth multipliers, like 1.5x or 1.75x?
Because the pair on the panel depends on how many times your account has already rebirthed — we captured 1x to 1.5x, 2x to 2.5x, 3x to 4x, 4x to 5x and 14x to 17.5x across two cleanly recorded accounts. Community tables that promise a fixed ladder from the first rebirth only partially match what our panels printed, so trust the pair on your own screen.

What Does Rebirth Do in Anime Dice?

Rebirth is the red button on the left edge of the screen, and it is the game’s permanent multiplier engine. Press it and two things happen at once, both printed on the panel in plain text: your account-wide Luck multiplier and your account-wide Cash multiplier each step up by one tier, and all of your cash is deleted. The panel does not whisper this — the middle of the window reads Rebirthing resets your cash! in every frame we captured.

The rest of the panel is a before-and-after offer. Two rows — one for Luck, one for Cash — each show your current multiplier, an arrow, and what the next rebirth turns it into. Below them sits a progress bar that fills with your cash, and a button that stays stone grey until the bar reaches the end.

Every screen on this page was opened and read frame by frame from two clean screen recordings:

Sources: the captures below are frames from two no-facecam, no-burned-caption screen recordings, checked at full resolution on 2026-09-17 at UPD 4: RexonSIM’s UPD 4 luck session (a late-game 14x panel) and RustScroll’s from-zero maxing run (a first rebirth at 50k, a second reset at 500m, and the mid-game 3x-to-4x click). A third session, Cocajola’s beginner guide, is quoted for one line of commentary only — “we already got the cash flowing back up” (8:44) — because that upload carries burned-in caption overlays, so we took no frames from it. Spoken numbers are quoted with timestamps. The developer publishes no official rebirth table — everything here is what the screens showed.

RexonSIM's UPD 4 session — the Rebirth panel appears around 4:50

What Exactly Does the Rebirth Panel Multiply?

Two lines, and the panel says so on the tin: Luck and Cash. The upper row upgrades the luck stat that drives your unit rolls; the lower row upgrades the cash income your base pulls in. One rebirth always moves both — in our frames the two rows always carried the same numbers, for example 3x Luck → 4x Luck directly above 3x Cash → 4x Cash.

The pair on the panel is not a global ladder you can memorise once — it reflects your own account’s progress. We captured five different pairs across the two accounts, each mid-step:

Account stageLuck rowCash row
RustScroll, first-rebirth offer1x → 1.5x1x → 1.5x
RustScroll, right after its second reset2x → 2.5x2x → 2.5x
RustScroll, mid-game3x → 4x3x → 4x
RustScroll, right after that rebirth4x → 5x4x → 5x
RexonSIM, late UPD 414x → 17.5x14x → 17.5x

That table is exactly what the screens showed and nothing more. We deliberately do not extrapolate it into a full ladder — the one step none of our frames caught is the second rebirth’s own offer, somewhere between 1.5x and 2x.

The earliest panel we captured — a brand-new account, one click from its first 1.5x.

Watch the first rebirth offer at 3:53

The one click we watched end to end proves how to read the rows: RustScroll’s panel sat at 3x → 4x with the bar full, he clicked, and the panel immediately re-offered as 4x → 5x. The left box is what you already have, and the right box is what the next click buys.

The frames also allow one cross-check the rows promise: a small multiplier badge in the bottom-right corner jumps by exactly the Luck row’s factor at each reset — x12.59 to x18.9 on that first rebirth, and x2.18m to x2.91m on the 3x one. The badge is unlabeled on screen, but two independent hits on the same arithmetic is as close to a receipt as a screenshot gets.

How Much Does the Next Rebirth Cost?

The bar in the middle of the panel is the price tag, and it reads your current cash over the cost: $73.41k/50k, $5.09t/5t, $5.37sx/1sp — one format on every account. In four of our five panel frames the left number matched the cash balance in the corner exactly; in the seconds right after a reset the two briefly disagree (one frame caught $406.02m on the bar against a $0 balance while the UI caught up), so read it as current-cash-over-cost with a small lag.

The button answers the bar: stone grey while the bar is short, green the moment your cash covers the cost. RexonSIM’s 20%-full bar stayed grey; both of RustScroll’s full bars were clicked on camera.

The costs we saw, each with its evidence:

  • 50k — printed on RustScroll’s first-rebirth panel at 3:53.
  • 500m — printed as the next tier on RustScroll’s panel right after its second reset (8:59); he also reads it aloud at 8:43 — “next one is 500 million”.
  • 50b — spoken only: RustScroll, 20:37 — “We need to check our rebirth. It’s 50 billion.”
  • 5t — printed on RustScroll’s panel at 38:11; he says “the next rebirth is also at 5 trill” at 27:52.
  • 500t — printed as the next tier on the same panel after the click; he says “the next one’s 500 trillion” at 38:16.
  • 1sp — printed on RexonSIM’s late-game panel; he calls it “the 1 SP rebirth” at 7:10.

The only tier-to-tier jump we watched happen live — 5t to 500t — was hundred-fold. One observation is a data point, not a rule, so we print no ladder.

Five trillion banked, the bar full — this is what “ready” looks like.

If your cash is nowhere near the bar, the fixes are the same as always: the money nodes in the upgrade tree, income that keeps accruing through offline earnings, and the free cash and potions from live codes.

What Does Rebirth Reset — and What Survives?

Your cash is gone. That is the entire price. The panel warns it in print, and the aftermath is on screen twice. RustScroll’s balance reads $0 in the frame right after his sixth-rebirth click — “we used all our money… I kind of forgot it took all your money,” he says at 16:26–16:58 — and his second reset, caught mid-banner further down the same run, zeroes the wallet in exactly the same way. The Cocajola session ends the same way — “we already got the cash flowing back up” (8:44) — but that upload carries burned-in caption overlays, so we quote it and take no frames from it.

Your units stay. RustScroll says it directly at 3:40 — “actually, it doesn’t reset our unit. So, that’s good” — and the frames agree: four seconds after his sixth rebirth, his team is still standing on its pads and popping cash.

Four seconds after the reset the team is back to work — rebirth taxes your wallet, not your roster.

The upgrade tree — we do not know. None of our sources shows the tree in a before-and-after across a rebirth, so we will not claim it survives. Both creators keep buying tree nodes across multiple rebirths without ever re-buying old ones, which is what persistence would look like — but that is an observation, not proof, and we flag it as such.

When Should You Click Rebirth?

The mechanics give you three practical rules, all visible in the recordings:

  1. Click when the bar is full — but spend down first. The reset takes your whole balance, so cash you were about to spend is cash you are donating. RustScroll learned this the hard way — “maybe I shouldn’t have done that. Oops.” (16:26) — and by 25:18 he times it properly: he upgrades what he can, then rebirths “on the dot”.
  2. Do not hoard for the next tier at the expense of your rolls. The Luck half of the reward compounds everything else — better rolls mean better units, and the character tier list is only worth grinding with the luck to fill it.
  3. Rebirth is why cash sinks matter less late. Since units and the tree survive, every dollar beyond the bar’s target is disposable — point it at dice or nodes before you click, never after.

And a timing note for UPD 4 specifically: RexonSIM reads the patch as adding “one new rebirth” on top of the old set (2:35), which tracks with his panel’s next step costing 1sp. The full patch context lives in our update history.
